FREE Parking is available at the Indianapolis Zoo with a shuttle bus provided by Indiana American Legion Post 64. The first shuttle leaves at 7:30 AM and the last shuttle leaves the statehouse at 3 PM.
The Indiana Military & Veterans Legislative Day (IMVLD) was founded in 2013 by Indiana State Representative John L Bartlett and a group of volunteers consisting of nonpartisan, not-for-profit Indiana Veteran Service Organizations and Military Associations. It is co-sponsored by a bipartisan group of Indiana Legislators. IMVDL intends to create an opportunity to enhance communications between Indiana’s Military, Veterans, and State Senators and Representatives regarding Military and Veteran-specific legislation moving through the Indiana General Assembly.
